Rapido is an app just like ola and uber but the only difference is that in rapido you will be travelling by bike to your destination , so I am just curious to know that did anyone had ever tried rapido in mumbai ????

I had tried Rapido last week from Lower Parel to Sewri as my bike was given for servicing, in my first ride the caption was pathetic chewing some tobacco and for the next 2 rides they were ok but didn’t want the risk as it is total crowded roads. |

In a rather amusing incident, the Transport Minister asked his associate whether all bike taxi services had been removed from public domain to which his associate confidently replied with a yes.
Turned out that the minister went online and booked a bike taxi and in 10 mins the captain arrived.
In Maharahstra, it is deemed illegal for operators without a license to operate Bike Taxi services.
Hence why you might seeing Rapido services offline for now :) |

I feel as a service platform Rapido wouldnt care if their capitans ride a non electric bike as it is just an intermediary. Their revenue still stays incoming :) |
