Gay couch surfing in India
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in gay couch surfing? If someone is traveling to your city and you can host him, can discuss, see if you guys are compatible and then make plans. Similarly if you are traveling that person's city he should host you too. I have used regular couch surfing to travel in Europe and it was a nice free way of traveling and making connections.

Couch surfing is a concept that's difficult to catch up in india - gay or not. There are so many people who would not think twice before staling, vandalising, mis treating the hosts property. So many Indians are so entitled, lacks basic civics/ social sense. I live alone but never in my wildest dream will welcome strangers - spl from the community to my home. Never. |

Europe was worse than India in that respect, just 50 years ago. We FOUGHT to make it that way and win our rights. Indians can do it too. Will you have the balls ? The Supreme Court gave you an opening with its stand on "privacy". But no one took the bait. |

The same are just everywhere, but Indians are ESPECIALLY paranoid.
I think the major issue standing against couchsurfing in India is that very few people live alone, without family, and most appartments are too small to even envision hosting a guest. |

Generally recommend using airbnb with self checkin option. So nobody cares who is coming and going. Make sure owner doesn't stay in the same building etc. |
