I feel it's the hookup culture, people from the community don't want to be in relationship cuz they don't want one single partner when it comes to *** and *** comes first, over comes other emotions, I feel people don't want to be attached to anyone but enjoy physically with everyone. Also when it comes to relationship there are lot of things we as gay/les people think of, most important is standards, lifestyle, is the other person matching up to our standards or not, which is good but if you genuinely like or love someone these things shouldnt matter. And the discrimination withing the community is at different level. |

But why we should wait people to accept us, its our life and in the end its our happiness matters....... I know some have family issue and all, but If u are independent in ur life then what u need? Just live ur life, as normal couple live and there are people who search for real love...... I am trying actively for finding a partner but now I am just tired to approach people.
What i have found is people are just shallow and don't want deep conversation or any commitments. They are used to their life's and don't want any further exploration apart from ***.
Being a Bottom it is more difficult to find a partner. On dating apps I have observed that bottom are more open towards commitment and they want long term partnership and intimacy but Tops fear commitments. They just want a timepass.

I have posted my experience on military or army men thread
So after then i cane to mumbai with my friends and after that he use to call me everyday like 2 to 3 times vc and voice call as well. Then on Thursday i got a call from him in afternoon like around 1pm that he wants we meet me and he invited me to his flat in karjat I denied to meet as i avoid meeting people again so i don't wanna get emotionally attached to anyone. But he then literally tried to convince me lot literally a lot he told he just wanna talk so i said ok.
I told him i will come tomorrow he said that he has to join his duty tomorrow. So i went to meet him he sent me his location and when i reached he was waiting outside his society gate as I entered the society i saw a park i told him let talk there as your son might be there at home he told me that he has dropped his son to his hostel earlier that morning he took me to his flat on 5th floor we took the lift after | entered he told be have a seat and be comfortable. Then he bought coffee and snacks for both of us.Then we had some normal talks then he asked me abt myself to which I answered him. Then he told me his story that he is actually gay and had a relationship with a guy in his 20's from his college time and when he was 21 his father came to know abt his sexual orientation and relationship at that time he has joined army after that his father forced him to marry a illiterate girl from their village and even forced him to have sexual relationship with his wife as he wanted grand children's then in some days he left for his duty and then he cane to know his wife is pregnant. He even told that he use to avoid going home as he didn't felt comfortable there. So coming back to the point after all this conversation that i asked him what's the point here why are u discussing all of these with me then he hold my hand and said i really love u and want to be in a relationship with you. He even said when we met he felt like some connection with me. I was literally speechless my hands and feet went numb. I pulled my hand back i said its not right what abt ur son he said as he grows up he will tell him everything and his son even has idea about him as he has pride flag in his bedroom. I was not able to tell what to say i stayed quiet for a while then i asked a glass of water as he went to kitchen. to get water i picked my bag and left as quickly as I could and entered the lift by the time he followed me and tried to approach the lift the lift gaye closed after that I headed towards the society gate then i got in auto as there is a auto stand right outside his society gate. I saw him came running he was literally bare feet i told the auto driver to drive away quickly i think he literally came running down the stairs as there is only one lift in his wing. I have blocked his calls as well as on WhatsApp he is msging me on telegram continuously. I really don't know what to do or say i had been in a 5 yr old relationship which ended up in a very bad way. It literally took me a yr to get through that. And after that i have decided i wont be i any relationship from now on. But at some point i also felt a connection with this guy i don't know what to say I don't have any other problems my family and friends know abt my sexuality and are really supportive and even asked my childhood bestie he told me i should give him and myself a chance. I am just not able to get that courage to get in a relationship once again and other thing i am really feeling bad for his son.And the guy is like 7 yrs older then me i am 26 and he is 33. He even said that after some time he will talk to family. But i really don't t know what to do i am mentally really disturbed not able sleep properly from 2 night. Pls guys really need ur suggestions and advice and please no negative comments |

Vickychubbtm I think you should talk with him, tell him you don't want to be in relationship cuz the past relationship. It's totally okay if you don't want any relationship with any one it's your life. But what you did, was wrong, you should have said something and left. If he convinces you and you get convinced then it's an issue, you need to be emotionally strong. You could also have directly told him that you don't want to be in relationship and just looking for physical partner kind of FWB he must have understood you. Do whatever suits you though! Cheer! |
