Imperial cinema at Grant Road is a very active cruising place especially during the evening shows in the balcony.
Direction: It is exactly opposite the YMCA on Grant Road, you can ask any taxi driver or passerby. It's easy to find. Either from Grant Road or Charni Road stations
When the lights are off, the shows begin in the seats. Cruise carefully as there can be some straights and homophobes, and always use protection.

Had been to imperial last weekend (Saturday), watched a boring movie with hardly anyone in stall or balcony . One thing to be cautious the theatre authorities are watching the crowd and catching people doing galat kaam .. however my this experience was very boring .. fingers crossed |

I visited this place a couple of weeks ago, on a Sunday to be precise. It is similar to Rajeshwari theatre in Bangalore, albeit slightly bigger. However, this place does not draw the numbers you get to see at Rajeshwari. But quite a good place to go in a group and have fun, if place is a big issue for you. The crowd was dismal to say the least. Throughout the time I was inside the theatre, I was poking around in the stall/balcony area but to no avail. Finally saw two decent looking men enter a toilet cabin who had some fun and came out. The better looking guy followed straight to the area behind the screen and to my surprise there were truckloads of people making out. No sooner did this hunk enter the area than a bunch of folks clung on to him, unzipped him in no time and started rimming/ *** him. i'll advise you the 6.30 show. if you like someone and can't have enough of them, then you catch up after the movie and come back for the 9.30 show ;) thats just my logic though.
9.30 show is good too but attracts too many queens.
I would advise the balcony ticket (its just 40bucks). there's slight decent crowd in the balcony. its small & comparatively empty so better chances of getting someone.
the place is safe and most of the guys/men who come there are seeking some sort of fun.
if you want to be more adventurous, head to the area behind the screen and you'll see guys making out with each other! had quite some fun there myself.
as for the crowd, it attracts all types of different crowd.. laborers, rik/taxi drivers, professionals, twinks, gym built guys.. you name it. its just the matter of luck and eyeing around :p
