Imperial cinema at Grant Road is a very active cruising place especially during the evening shows in the balcony.
Direction: It is exactly opposite the YMCA on Grant Road, you can ask any taxi driver or passerby. It's easy to find. Either from Grant Road or Charni Road stations
When the lights are off, the shows begin in the seats. Cruise carefully as there can be some straights and homophobes, and always use protection.

Yes, the bunch of loud characters are a permanent fixture of most theatres where action happens!
I think they aren't trying to fish out their prey but rather scare away few guys so that their number of prey steadily increase in matter of minutes..
after all everybody is there for a release and time is very precious..
I agree with you..letsfuck..It is irritating and dissappointing....I never had an issue with the loudly dressed and loud speaking queens but lately i started disliking them!

The owner of the theatre is a nice man, he has nothing against gay guys, there are even times when he will try to help you when your gaydar goes wrong and if someone complains about you but he cannot jeophardize his theatre by giving cops a reason to stand against him, crossdressing spells ***/trade/prostitution you cannot deny, he will lose out on customers too, hence he does not allow crossdressing, and even "pretends" to shun gay activity, i think we should not exploit him to that level. Was there for the 09:30 PM show last Friday.. My first time at this place...a B-grade Tamil to Hindi dubbed movie was about a spoilt village brat who was bear chested all the time .. Nothing more nothing less!

I have been to imperial many many times. Have stopped going now.
