Growing up.. Personality

As a growing kid/teenager, though I looked masculine, had manly manners/behavior, I was different from the boys of my age. I loved to sing, liked dance (though I never danced), never picked up smoking or drinking even in College, didn't go behind girls (even secretly), choose to hang out with aunts and female cousins, never played or watched any sport. It was not just sexuality, even in everyday life I guess I was different to other boys. How different were you guys from other boys ?

UnalteredAbyss	Posted On Sep 3, 2026 I don't think liking to sing or dance makes you any less of a "man". And yeah, I do have the same indifference towards sports. Never could see of point in being excited by seeing a bunch of strangers kick a ball. About smoking and drinking, I haven't done any of those yet, and its a flex honestly. If not indulging in deliberate damage of my lungs makes me look "girly", then yes, I rather am. I actively turn down any offers to smoke, and when asked "why", because I am a boy, I simply point out to the picture on the cigarette pack, and say that I don't wanna end up like that. Its your life, and only you get to direct it. Conforming to this "stereotypical masculinity" only makes it percolate deeper into the society. Be upfront about your decisions, and steer away of people who make you feel inferior because of your choices.
