Loo below flyover, right in front of Chembur Adda
This public Loo is situated beneath the flyover, right in front of Chembur Adda in Sawan Bazar. The area itself is quite dark and set back from the main thoroughfare. While the daytime sees it surrounded by the busy fruit and vegetable market, at night, the market closes down, leaving it quite isolated. I've only encountered auto-rickshaw drivers using it for quick leak. A guy I spoke with actually pointed out the location to me. Given its nighttime solitude, it seems like it could be a spot of interest if it isn't already. Reply/Post a comment

This spot consistently delivers. In most of my visits – four out of five or six – I've found exactly what I was looking for: action-oriented guys. Interestingly, I've almost never initiated anything myself, save for one time. Even today, what started as a quick pit stop to use the restroom turned into an almost-encounter.
A middle-aged man with a beard, wearing a black t-shirt, entered and took the stall next to mine. He subtly glanced my way, then, with a slightly feminine flourish, brushed his hair behind his ear. I lingered, and he began to playfully touch his nipples under his t-shirt, all while watching me from the corner of his eye. The suggestion was clear. As he seemed about to leave, I subtly angled myself to expose my tool a little. He paused, then returned, lifting his t-shirt as if adjusting his pants, pushing his *** out and touching his zipper, seemingly ready to unzip. Just then, another guy walked in and stood right next to me to pee. The moment was lost. I left, feeling like a prime opportunity had slipped away. He was definitely in the mood. |

*An Unexpected Encounter*
So this is one used to be my regular spots, not always for any action or anything, sometimes just to use the loo. and sometime it a good adrenaline rush with exhibition. But today, I went there just for that reason.
But today, scared the hell out of me.
I went a bit later than usual and noticed there were more guys hanging around near the loo than normal. Didn’t think much of it since I really had to take a leak. Just as I was about to step inside, I saw a transgender person standing there in a blue saree. It literally gave me a jump scare. I didn’t even go in, just turned around and left. They weren’t even using the loo, just standing right near the entrance, completely still. Now, I’ve got nothing against transgender people and I don’t usually get scared with them, but honestly, that moment freaked me out. Maybe it was the timing, or how quiet it was, or just how unexpected it felt.
I hadn’t been to that spot in a while, so no idea if it’s now become a hangout place for them. If it has, that’s kinda not great, it just doesn’t feel the same anymore.
If anyone experience the same today, let me know :) |

I had been planning to visit two cruising spots for a long time—this one and the one near Natraj Theatre. Last night, at around 1:00 a.m., I finally decided to check this place out.
I parked my scooter near the fruit vendors. As I got closer, I could hear some noises coming from inside the public toilet. I deliberately switched on my phone's flashlight and walked toward the entrance. The people inside had no idea I was approaching, and the moment my flashlight lit up the place, they both became alert.
There were two guys inside. One of them was *** the other guy's ***. As soon as they saw me, the guy who was *** said, "Come inside if you want."
Neither of them was my type, so I simply smiled and said, "You guys enjoy," before walking away.
Interestingly, there were two other men sitting nearby who clearly knew what was happening inside the toilet. They kept watching the entrance, and they also looked like local vendors or fruit sellers.
From what I observed, this toilet seems to be an active place for ***. I watched it from a distance for nearly 45 mins. Local guys kept walking in, checking if there was a bottom waiting outside before going inside. It was pretty obvious what they were there for.
Later, I noticed three guys standing around a scooter just outside the toilet. They stayed there talking for quite a while. What caught my attention was that all three of them were facing toward the toilet side, almost as if they were watching who was entering or leaving the toilet.
After they left, two more men arrived. They were smoking near a large garbage pile beside the toilet. They stood there chatting for a while, then walked toward Bhulingeshwar Temple before eventually returning to the toilet area. My guess is that they, too, were looking to see if they could find someone.
There was also one very typical bottom wandering around the area. However, he came across as quite restless, and personally I didn't find him particularly trustworthy.
### What makes this spot special?
The biggest advantage is the design of the toilet itself. There is no actual door. Instead, a wall has been built in front of the entrance, so people outside cannot see what's happening inside. The wall was obviously meant to provide privacy for people using the toilet, but from a cruising point of view, it works perfectly.
There is also no light inside the toilet. It's fairly dark, and very little light from outside reaches the interior. That makes it an ideal setup for local cruising.
Toilet was clean.
### Why should you still be cautious?
The crowd, especially the regular bottoms, didn't seem particularly trustworthy to me. Economically, many of them appeared to come from lower-income backgrounds. I'm not saying that's always a problem, but it can sometimes become a concern.
I'm specifically mentioning the bottom crowd because, in my opinion, whether a cruising spot develops into a good one or eventually gets ruined depends largely on the regular bottoms who spend the most time there. Tops and curious straight guys usually come, get what they want, and leave. Bottoms often stay around much longer, waiting for the next person, so they have a much bigger influence on the atmosphere of the place.
Apart from the regular bottoms, I also saw a few visitors who looked middle class or upper-middle class—people who, in simple terms, seemed to come from respectable families. However, the majority of the crowd was clearly local, probably from lower-middle-class neighborhoods or below. My impression was that many of them were from areas like Ghatla Gaon and Subhash Nagar in Chembur. Their typical shorts-and- T shirt style made that seem fairly obvious.
That said, I am absolutely not saying that these people are dangerous or judging anyone based on their financial background. I'm mentioning this only as an observation to help others understand the kind of crowd that usually comes here.
Overall, I think this is a genuinely good cruising spot. You just need to be a little careful and make sure you're not interfering with the regular bottoms who already use the place. If everyone respects each other, the spot can continue to function smoothly.
What surprised me most is that this place is still so underrated on OhMojo. Considering that Chembur and Ghatkopar are both densely populated areas, I expected far more people from our community to know about it.
One more thing—I don't think the police patrol this place very often. I stayed there for around 45 minutes, and during that entire time I didn't see a single police officer.
Hopefully, people will use this spot responsibly, respect one another, and help keep it active so that more people can enjoy it without creating unnecessary problems.
(I visited the loo near Natraj Cinema as well. I will write about it after a break.)
