Not dead, but i say just evolved online. As they say, change is the only constant.
Cruising in public comes with so many risks:
1. Legal Risks: Public indecency laws still apply. Even if the act is consensual, getting caught in a public space can lead to arrest under nuisance or obscenity charges.
2. Police Harassment: In known cruising spots, if caught, cops harass, threaten, or even extort individuals.
3. Blackmail & Extortion: There are many cases where someone pretends to be interested, or even acts like a cop, lures people into isolated areas, and then demands money with threats of outing or arrest. Some have also faced robbery, assault, or worse.
4. Health & Safety Concerns: Most of these places are unhygienic, bushes, toxic fumes, insects, snakes, and mosquito bites are common. More importantly, the risk of STDs is also significant due to lack of protection or rushed encounters.
All this ain't worth for some 10 minute fun. That’s why many people have moved to safer alternatives like Grindr, where you can connect discreetly, chat comfortably, and meet in a clean, private space, maybe even with AC or a fan, on your own time and terms.

Around Majestic, there are always chances. The second outstation bus stand, there are always peepers but it is slightly risky to do anything there although ppl say they've done many things. This loo is the most active spot. I go regularly just to look around. I never picked up anyone from here.
I enjoy cruising around the entire area. Around 7pm to 9pm, if you are lucky, the first line there are people sitting around. these are g*y cruisers from 1980s, 1990s. There used to be heavy action then many years back. I have touched one guy's crotch. He is attractive but he doesn't come easily. Nothing more than that happened but I can see he is interested in men.
Once a guy followed me a lot and then struck up a conversation. He told me to come to a room about 5 km away but I didn't go later.
Once, I participated in g*ng bang .. one North guy had arranged but i went away quickly. They were doing it all day. I am a safety first guy.
Balaji bar, some action happens but it is some trans ppl who look for business. G*y stuff cannot be openly seen but it happens in many cheap and mid level lodges there.
I try some naughty stuff ;-). More later |

Yes almost almost almost spots in west side is dead..
1. Banaswadi fire station: sealed with Fencing wire.. and mostly no hope to reach inside.. still anyone knows this place is still active drop suggestions and way to exact reach.
2. Babysapalya garden: dried completely.. sometimes luck by chance may gets here.
3. KR puram bust depot (opposite to general hospital): this spot is bit active but very less .. police are frequently roaming and not sure it's at risk or happening place .
4. rammurthy nagar signal:(Bit Active) active after 7:30 - 11 pm but most of oldies... Sometimes auto drivers comes. Few straight people come for pee but it's luck by chance they hang..here those who enters in side parallel road between railway and road track are interested in hookups.
5. Below Bridge of Tin Factory: less croud but active at late evening after 8-9 car drivers and local guys visits here at service road . Be careful while approaching at this spot as may b people stop here for rest or pee. inside small green crops u may find options. However Third gender are active in this spot which may cause trouble.

Near basavanagudi a park, there I visited after 8.30 was shocked to see atleast 10 men walking weirdly searching for guys, it aas very dark u can't even see face properly only shadows, I saw two guys staying in front of eachother I clearly saw one guy belt open. Then I got to know they were all cruising. The thing is there everyone will be waiting for anyone to take initiative. That day I sat and grabbed my bulge in front a guy, then suddenly he came and started touching me, seeing him another directly gave a bj, it was very hot.
