You did not want to break the fat guys heart and did it out of compassion which is commendable not many people do this. You are right, he must have faced so much of rejection in his life that you were probably his only hope. He knows you did not enjoy it but he is unable to accept it. I guess his options are limited unless he decides to do something to get back in shape.
