Chennai is quite difficult for visitor friendly hotels. My best bet was Sri BKM guest house in T Nagar.
Bava lodge in Egmore allows it too but they asked me to leave after I had a noisy foursome there in the room. |

A year before I went to pudhuchery for an interview. As usual am not selected then I booked a hotel for night stay.. just a low budget hotel.. though that place is famous for drinks I wanted to drink in hotel. Once I visited a small place in the district of Jalpaiguri..
