Very important topic indeed STDs are very common these days Trust factor is very important There are preventive medicine which you need to take in advance If you're planning for random hookups at shady places Being comfortable and open enough with your partner goes a long way Never hesitate to use a condom if you're unsure of the other person and don't fall for their emotional tantrums if they ask you to go ahead without one A single moment of happiness can cause lifelong trauma Stay safe have fun out there |

If her colleague has a high body count she could be carrying syphilis or STD It's best not to over think Cold and fever is common nowadays in the city, could just be the weather And it's nothing to be scared of getting a test Having an early detection is always better than delaying And it's curable It's best for you to wait on him |

@karthigymguy I was on your friend's situation before. Trust me overthinking and being afraid won't help. Tell him to consult a doctor and check for sti infection. I consulted a doctor in t nagar which is far from my home. I got a clear view after consulted a doctor. But still I was restless until the test results came as non reactive.
So tell him to consult a doctor and be confident. Mostly sti infection shows symptoms within a week but still your friend have to take test to make sure of it. |

@newliferj Herpes or hsv can’t be completely avoided. There is no medication to guarantee complete protection against herpes. Safe sexual practices is the only way you can stay away from it. If you see someone with an outbreak, do not engage in any activity with them.
This is a very important thread, I’m pretty sure most of them in the forum are absolutely clueless about STI’s /STD’s . It is important to spread the awareness. Nobody will bother until some symptoms occur to them. Getting tested and early awareness can stop or cure a lot of these. |

It depends on what you’re suspecting. If you think you’re exposed to HIV or had unsafe ***, better to get an std panel test, which will cover most of the STI’s , STD’s.. each of these infection has a window period and if you want to be completely sure, you should get tested after this period. There are many clinics out there which take these tests .. You can try Dr Lal Pathlabs or Dr safe hands or many more clinics you can find by just searching online. |

🚨 URGENT: PROTECT YOURSELF – NO EXCUSES 🚨
Guys, this is a wake-up call. A friend in our group has been diagnosed with multiple STDs leading to HIV. His doctor confirmed that repeated infections compromised his immunity, making him more susceptible. If you're engaging in unprotected ***, especially through apps like Grindr or in public cruising spots, you're gambling with your health.
💀 Hard Truths:
1 in 5 men who have *** with men are currently infected with an STD.
Men who have *** with men are 24 times more likely to contract HIV than the general population.
Many claim they're tested when they're not. The high cost of STD testing, ranging from ₹849 to ₹3,500, leads some to falsely assert they've been tested because they can't afford regular screenings.
⚠️ Non-Negotiable Rules: ✔ ALWAYS use condoms & consider PrEP if you're eligible. ✔ DEMAND recent STI test results—No proof, no play. ✔ Get tested every 3 months—Prioritize your health over cost; some labs offer tests starting at ₹849. ✔ Avoid partners who seem risky (e.g., those under the influence, engaging in public ***, or with multiple partners). ✔ STEER CLEAR of public cruising areas—The anonymity increases your risk exponentially.
No more excuses. The cost of testing is minimal compared to the price of your health. Protect yourself and your partners. This is life or death.
💊 Enjoy responsibly. Get tested, use protection, and make informed choices. |
