Just like Uber bike, Rapido (app) bikes are active in Pune now. Mumbai and Bangalore have lots of interesting stories about 'on the move' action happening between the Rapido captains and customers. While it has been difficult to find a Rapido ride in Pune, today only I finally had a ride booked. The rider guys must new to bike ride scenes, so dint make any obvious acts. The ride and experience were good though. They probably need time to get comfortable with it. Mumbai and B'lore Rapido scene is quite lit. Hope Pune joins them in this party. Please do share in case you have any interesting encounters with your ride captains. Cheers.

Glad to see this thread has finally got off to comments. Its great that we have some captains already active on the here on forum and yes, the app needs to get more popular in Pune..... like in Mumbai and Bangalore. Let's get more people talking here. Pune actually has a good potential for Rapido cruising scene once more people join in. |

There are some permit issues.
Feb 2021 , 8 bikes were seized by RTO of those working as rapido captains.
I am clueless as to of those issues are present even now or not.
Even in Mumbai, RTO was ordering to shut all bike taxi apps. |

now if passenger sitting on pillion rider doing something naughty or inappropriate to bike rider then its not drivers fault.

Looking forward to trying Rapido in Pune. Have had lot of success in other cities. From Pune station area, where are good destination location to go where the drive is through secluded spots for fun? Should not be too far away otherwise getting a ride back will be an issue. I am not too familiar with the city, so asking. |

Yesterday I booked a rapido from sangvi to dapodi, the captain was about a 35 year old guy, after the ride began I casually started to touch his stomach and told him he looks smart, he told many girls too say him this and they sit behind him holding his.....this was almost not possible but a clue for me to go forward. I asked him main bhi pakad ke baith jao kya he said yes. I had a bag which I gave him to keep infront and then I put my hand inside his trousers, he had a good size which I kept stroking all the way but unfortunately we could not get a place to do anything more. He dropped me to the location and said he will call whenever he had place.
According to me to touch casually and then talk confidently is the best way to approach rapido guys rather than directly putting hand over there as this might be uncomfortable for someone |

Rapido ride, it was pure unintentionally but it happened omg.
Booked a ride n was waiting for him, it started raining i was in two mind if i cancel n book auto but by the time he came n heavy rain started n i said i have no raincoats so just wait here n we did 10 min. I saw him carefully he was an average marathi guy. I wasn't interested in talking either that much just was killing time. Rain wasn't stopping but it slowed down a bit so I said let's go it's getting late anyway.
On the way after few kms it started even more heavy rain.. It was difficult for him to drive, he again requested to can we stop n wait I said yes plz even m getting wait.
Although my house was nearby we stopped for like 15-20 min
I was getting bored n he was nt that intresting I said end the ride n I'll pay n walk from here as i had umbrella.
So he did, paid him n left by walk.
In 5 min rain reduced a lot bt I was half way ahead n he came from behind said.. Sit sit I'll drop. I was okay. He dropped near my house he was drenching wait. I just for humanity asked if he want can come home n get dry n have tea n wait for rain stop. Which he readily agreed. I was still had no intention.
I opened the door n escorted him to my one of the bathroom n gave him towel. N I went in other bed room's bathroom. I removed clothes n came in towel n was in hurry to go to my room n wear clothes in same time he came out n we saw each other shirtless. I asked him if he want tee shirt he is like no its fine I'll be in towel as anyway I'll be leaving soon. I said OK.
I wore baniyan n came in kitchen n started preparing tea n it just clicked me I can put his clothes in dryer.
I asked him give ur clothes I'll dryer it.
He got his clothes n I was busy with machine till then I asked him he can make tea for both all ingredients are there. He started. I was almost done with machine n he came running said wait wait my cards n and all in pant only..and in haste he almost leaned on me from back and took pant from machin n took out his cards etc.
