This might be a serious topic but it is a necessary one which may help me as well as anyone else reading this and raise the concern about maintaining sexual health and safety as well as destroying the stereotype of gay guys being full of diseases I request everyone to just drop your experiences and details about the sexual health doctors in Bangalore that you have visited so we can all have a good database of information that can help everyone? Maybe just do your part which may help someone in need one day and give you good karma as we all know how nervous and paranoid one is while getting their sexual health checkup as well as interacting with hospital staff about the same You don't have to be specific about the doctor's name if u don't want to but atleast the hospital and title(urologist,dermatologist,etc) and your review of whether they were being polite and judgement-free or rude and judgemental or whatever your experience may be I would love to read it Thankyou for reading this far and I'm sorry if I may have wasted your time but I'm just doing my part so it may help someone Happy hunting and love to you all Stay safe Reply/Post a comment

I had a chance encounter with a guy who was working in a diagnostic centre in North Bangalore, we chatted over PR for months and decided to meetup at IISc on a late Sunday evening. After walking around in the campus and we managed to grope each other in the darkness..... He then suggested we wait till 9 pm and we could continue with our romance in the privacy of the diagnostic centre (which was closeby). The centre would be closed while he had the spare keys .... he uses to get in to open the centre in the morning. We reached the centre and made it out passionately. I was paranoid about safety those days (even now) and to my shock, I realized the condom I had used was torn after ***, I cleaned my *** but I was bothered about the torn condom having read a lot about unprotected *** ***.
I convinced myself it was alright, but for no reason had recurring thoughts about the dangers of bare backing, even started to imagine that my *** had started to itch, I would repeatedly examine my *** for rashes. My worries just mounted with every day and I decided to consult a venerologist at a private nursing home in south Bangalore.
I met the VD doctor and explained that at times, I get an itchy sensation at the tip of my ***. He made my strip, lie on the bed, and examined my ***, he stretched the foreskin back and forth and told me there wasn't any problem but he would just take a swab of my ***, just to rule out the possibility of an infection. He took the sample, I dressed up and he then started to interrogate me on my *** life. I was in a dilemma, not sure if I should reveal my gay *** encounters. But, my nervousness was evident and he almost guessed the truth and asked me if I had *** ***, I nodded, next he asked me if it was with a guy (my homo tendencies were perhaps evident to him), I agreed. He was calm, told me not to worry, asked me to just wait for the test results, and lectured me on the importance of protective penetration.
To my relief, the results were negative, I met him after a week and he told me I was worried for no reason, but appreciated me for being cautious, told me (with a twinkle and a faint smile) that ...it was good to gave a great *** life, but important not to be promiscuous and play safe.

@Lascivious, obviously its a fear factor for everyone who follows safe ***. I understand how this torn condom would have troubled you. Good you met up with a doctor to clear your doubt..

Happened to visit for infection caused by using dirty public toilet..and was having relationship with gay friend on constant basis...

Hey @Ud90, I too have piles because of *** ***. But I don't know how to confess it in my home. I dint even visit doctor fearing all the time that what if doctor gets to know about my *** ***. It has been 3 months I think. Initially I had too much pain and blood leak. Now it's ok but still I want to get rid of piles completely.
I had gone through horrible days when I had blood leak. It pained a lot. It stank a lot making me uncomfortable and try avoid people to hide the stink. It also made me loose my confidence and work concentration. I was also exhausted at a point of time.
Kindly help me how get out of this. |

I even cried many times because of piles. I felt disgust, bad of myself, cursed myself, what not! I felt hard at a point when I was unable to confess it a single person. Hiding the pain, stink, problems has killed me from inside. I even hesitated to confess on ohmojo thinking what people would think of me. But today, I couldn't control. |

though i do not hav this problem in person i was told by friends to use cocnut oil smear around the *** opening before going to sleep
it actually softens the area and avoids blood.also u can use warm water in a small plastic tub adding betadine one cup solution be seated
for few minutes with *** opening inside the warm water tub.

Anamdeya pls use betadine solution as told by Skyhawk as it worked for me... eating raddish and lots of water helps, but immediate medical treatment is must so go to good doctor or it will worsen for sure.dont neglect many people has it and small operation if needed will be permanent solution.. |

@BotMadan PPP is not an issue it’s just the growth around your *** head which appears post puberty. It’s non benign and doesn’t harm in any way. It’s common in 7% of men’s worldwide. However if at all you want to get rid of it, it’s just a 15 min laser surgery wherein they burn the PPP.
I have it too for several years now, so don’t worry! Infact it’s pleasurable with your partner 😉 |

Avoid Spicy food, Daily drink buttermilk & have curd. its not temporary , its a lifestyle .
someone mentioned right here, its body heat & blood being acidic. if possible consult a local doctor
if its stage1 or stage2 , no need of operation. |

@ Anaamadheya, Piles or Hemorrhoids is not sometime to be worried much about, visit a surgeon and get it treated. Any private hospital surgeon can help with it. Basically the issue is because the piles have come out and bleeding. They do a minor surgery called stapled hemorrhoidectomy with which they will permanently staple these piles back in place and get cured completely. If its really paining and bleeding, visit the surgeon immediately and get it done. |

I had an accidental annal *** with one of my friend without condom. I never do that generally, but that time somehow due to the situation and partner's persistence, I had to do it. Since then I was really worried about the consequence. Though he was my known friend, I knew he had fun with many others too and since mine was big tool, it was very tight too.
AFter some days, while urinating I was feeling a bit burning sensation too. I was so much afraid and cursed that horrible moment several times in my mind. Finally decided to visit a sexologist *** urologist doctor. Visited Dr. Shas***har at Lotus diagnostic center. He examined me and also suggested to do all STI tests - Syphilis, Ghonrea . Chalmidiya , HIV etc etc. I did complete test and all were negative. Thank God!!! Had prescribed some tablets and syrup for burning which was probably due to acidity/uric acid problem and that helped to get rid of burning . Will never ever do *** or oral without condom in my life... :) :) |
