Bus stand Urinals
The main bus stand in bijapur has 5 urinals. The one at the back is clean, pay and use and probably no hanky-panky happens there.. There are four ordinary urinals in 4 corners of the stand where action happens. The one near the road where buses enter the stand is the biggest of them, has the maximum crowd (usual travellers and people looking for quick fun). There minimal lighting after dark and lots of men of all ages hang out in and around the urinal. Most are middle aged but some youngsters and a couple of grandpas too. Men of all social classes and cleanliness levels are there so if u r patient, u will soon find someone suiting u. You can give/get a quick anonymous handjob but nothing more due to large number of people around. And yes, as always, be safe and dont attract undue attention. @govardhan ... I was there in Bijapur last month on work. Just tried around the Gol Gumbaz area but found none. Is the bus stand safe? Maybe the Muslim guys are hot, though straight. Any other spots there that can be tried next time? Please share. |

@nostaguy.. I have visited bijapur about 5 times over the past 2 years. This is the first time i got free from work early, and decided to loiter around in the bus stand with low expectations, to check its level of activity, spy on some rural grandpas, but was impressed to see it smoking hot after dusk..
Im a lover of slim, grey haired grandpas and wasnt disappointed. Made friends with a 65 year old well dressed and well behaved guy who is a regular there, and had a cuppa after giving him a hj... Im not familiar with Bijapur, but as per ohmojo, barah kaman is cruisy, but it closes around dusk.. Maybe all that crowd moves to the bus stand which is half km away. |

Update. Visited Bijapur recently after a long gap, and headed straight to the bus stand after work, with a lot of expectations and wasnt disappointed.
Lots of men hanging around the bus stand, perched in locations from where they could see the toilet, and who were repeatedly making forays into the urinal whenever someonr of their choice walked in to pee. Within a few minutes, found a familiar face from last time, chatted up with him, and took a 5 min walk to jod gumbaz, whose vast gardens allowed us to have a nice half an hour of privacy. Then took a break, walked back to the bus stand where there was one slim farmer grandpa in kurta pyjama who was just the type i like, but was disappointed to see him not interested (he soon found a college boy and went off somewhere- i respected his decision and privacy, and hung around again).
In the next half hour, i played a bit with two 60 year olds, but they wanted to take it to next level in hotel room, which i refused. Jerked off three more grandpas, and received a hj myself from one of them. All this amidst dozens of younger guys cruising and flashing, numerous guys pisssing and a few bus drivers too emptying their bladders. Update: Been here a few more times, usually Sunday evenings. Been disappointed only once (no slim grandpas that day) when there was a constant drizzle all evening with only a handful of youngsters braving the rain.
There are quite a few regulars (of all ages, with various preferences) and a few new guys everytime.
The action is mostly restricted to soliciting partners by exposing their erections and mutual jerk-offs. However, a few guys who have hit it off have gone to nearby hotels/open spaces to do more.
One regular mentioned that hardcore action happens after 10pm when the crowds are minimal and the shops close. Apparently there are a lot of nooks and corners all over the bus stand where serious action and gang-bangs happen. Does anybody have an idea regarding this?

Visited here about a dozen more times over the past 5 years.
Never once been disappointed. There has always been a good crowd of familiar and unfamiliar faces all evening. Safely cruising till late night. Enough sexy grandpas to keep me happy.

Further updates...
Returned to Bijapur after a 3 year gap for a 3 day work trip.
There were many changes from my previous visits, and not all were for the better.
The bus stand is still very very cruisy, right from dawn, through the day and till late night. People of all ages and classes are wandering about the bus stand, eyeing the urinals from afar and homing in when the see someone they like go to the urinal. There r lots of sexy grandpas, dhoti clad rural uncles and middle aged men showing their hard and thick c*cks at all other around them.
The left half of the cruisy urinal is barricaded which means that available space is lesser so the urinals are rarely empty enough even at late night for any real action to take place. The only good thing is that people are going to the other free urinal across the bus stand to cruise and do a mutual jerk off.
There is a dark spot between buildings near a ?court complex opp the bus stand where guys take their partners when they want a safe place. It is pitch dark but because of the number of people going there, who may be creating a nuisance, the shopkeepers nearby are actively going and chasing guys out of that complex when they suspect some naughty action. So we have to be extra careful. I faced this on a saturday and fortunately was on high alert (thanks to multiple episodes in bigger cities) so managed to escape scot free.
Even the paid urinals have either a person at the counter monitoring who enters where or there r cctv cameras (may not be functional, but still are deterrant enough) at the entrance.
There were a couple of teen guys being loud, pansy and obviously gay, drawing unnecessary attention. If they don't control this overt display of their sexuality, the general public and authorities will soon be aware of the happenings here, and this spot will also die out slowly just like multiple spots in big cities including Bangalore.
If you really like someone, safest is to book a hotel room for privacy. Outdoor cruising is not as safe here as it was 5 years back. |
