Recently i have watched few gay love stories on you tube. Channel name : last leaf production.
Series name: mujhe rang de season1 /2.
Koi naam naam na do.
Tera ban chala hoon.
Lavender.
Except koi naam naam na do other 3 are good. But koi naam na do is worst among this. Because the story doesn't make any sense.

I liked koi nam na do most. Because it’s the true story of almost every gay guy I know. Falling for a straight friend who is nice. And the ending is also very realistic. Atleast for season 1. Mujhe rang de is very cliche. I haven’t seen any other works of last leaf production. |

@SweetLay4Top dear the reason behind I don't like the koi naam na do is that ki kavith is very immature by according to his behavior. Because he fall in love for every now n then as anshul is his 18th love interest. And clearly mentioned from beginning that he is straight, and they can best friends , not friends with benefits or lover. And he did sacrifice for kavith. They both r financially struggling. As u know that because of Anshul he got to chance to stay in that apartment. And currently kavith lost his job so, Anshul is the one who paid kavith due. Plus anshul got one advertisement when he got 1 lacs rupees but he refused because kavith wanted anshuls emotional support and presence.
And what's wrong with last episode. Kaviths weird behavior and tumne bhi dhokha diya n all. Did anshul ever gave him false hope or promises that they can be together or he has fellings for him or he is using kavith for physical or financial need. Answer is No.
I know ki friendship main bhi jab dhokha milta tab bahot hurt hota hai, but anshul ne aisa toh kuch kiya nahi. He started liking that girl. But there relationship won't last long.
Kavith ka last episode ka behavior tab justified hota agar anshul ne kavith ek committed relationship main hote. Anshul was very clear he is straight. Then.
I know ki gay ladke ka straight ladke attract hona koi nai baat nahi hai. But agar samne wala clear hai ki woh sirf aapko ek dost manta hai aur aapko uske liye feelings hai, so u know ki one day aapka heart break hoga hi.
But story agar aisi hoti ki anshul kavith ko apni physical needs , emotional needs ya financial needs k liye usko use kar raha hota ya usko joothe kasame vaade diye hote then only kavith ka behavior sahi lagta.
But story aisi nahi hai.
So kavith is nothing but very childish and immature person. Nothing else. Khud hi sapno ki duniya main rehta hai aur jab sapne poore nahi hote tab blame dusare pe dal do ki tumne mujhe dhokha diya.
Well that's my point of view.
Everyone has different perception so.
But honestly I don't like that series because of this illogical scenes and dialogues.

@Mnb… I like the series because its a stupid romance but with real characters. Like your described in detail, Kavit is a dumb idealistic guy living with his head in the clouds thinking his nice straight friend will like him back. This is illogical but very very real. I know many gay friends who have done this before, even I have done it before… desperately wanting the guy friend to give him attention, to sexplore or do something meaningful but to never have it and finally end in heartbreak. Yes, it’s stupid but it happens a lot. So I find it realistic.
Again, in the context of Bollywood romances where heroine and hero magically meet each other through lucky af coincidences like letters flying to lovers hands, and fantasy *** like that, I think this series kept the same temper for a queer romance without making it all about trauma. So I appreciate the writers for giving a simple love story that’s relatable to both bollywood romances as well as to real gay people falling in love with with impossible love interests. The will they get together or not is the point of suspense and they maintain it so well.
And they also manage to showcase family tensions so beautifully and accurately for example his brothers scene with the tiffinbox.
I find it more interesting than mujhe rang de because of moments like these. Mujhe rang de is too safe and it’s a boy meet boy story, nothing complex like unrequited love which is deep friendship on one side and yearning on the other. As you said, different palates for different people I guess. 😇 |

But my question is When kavith knows from beginning that it was just one sided then why this drama and all in last episode.
The last episode didn't justify his behavior. When he knows that they would never be together and said ki tumne bhi dhokha diya.
I was like dhokha? Bro usane commitment hi kab di thi.
That's my question. That behavior is not natural at all.
Other than that I agree about gay guy having feelings for straight one. One sided love. Etc.
I have also mentioned this when I first comment on ur views.
