We will be staying Aura Residency. 25th to 27th April - Cost of the hotel rooms starts from 6k for a double ac room. It was very difficult for us to find hotel rooms even though we were booking 2 months earlier. As someone suggested earlier, its better to reach Thrissur and then find hotel rooms as half of the hotels/lodges wouldn't be listed anywhere on the internet. Anyways, if any of you would like to join us - 1 bearded top (38), 2 bearded versatiles (38 & 43) and 1 cln shaven top (45) - then come off.. lets have fun.

The doubt is is it ok being shirtless in crowd ? As many will be wearing shirts and few pants ... won't we feel different from others or is it ok with our planned dress ? During Pooram, room rates go up almost 5 times, so people usually book rooms in groups. Because of that, you can move around most lodges freely—no one really questions you. You can walk through the verandas, connect with people, and just have fun. Most of these lodges are near the KSRTC stand or the railway station. The second spot people usually mention is the stadium, but honestly, last year it wasn’t very active. Instead, the main happening place now is the parking ground of Elite Supermarket. There’s a road next to Kairali Theatre that leads directly to this ground. That’s where most of the action happens. The police might come occasionally, but once they leave, people gather again. It’s a very happening place—slightly risky, but also thrilling. Another nearby spot is the darker side of the building right in front of this ground, near the Indian Coffee House building. If you’re looking for a safer option, Bindu Theatre is the best place. You’ll find more than 500 people there during Pooram. You can enjoy both inside and outside the theatre. Highly recommended. Show timings are usually 12:00, 3:00, 6:30, and 9:30.

Late Evening searched for room but most of the rooms occupied , and they are not ready to give single person . For enquiry I visited multiple lodges , many roaming here and there, no one is questioning , even I waited few minutes in waiting hall no one bothered . Entire city will be in rush on that day . No one cares , it's different feel . Only worst thing was climate very very hot
