This hotel and dormitory with sauna jacuzzi swimming pool with most important common communal showers for men living in dormitory. This seems like a potential cruising spot. Showers have curtains on all four sides with very minimal privacy. Men are naked and you get to enjoy voyeurism and exhibitionism here. Many gays are active so you can pay 400rs per night charge and stay here. If you find guys you can have fun in the toilet cubicles. They also have common locker rooms and they ask us to change to a uniform which is shorts which is sexy too.

I have been to Essotto several times in the past year. I can confirm that the Common Showers have only shower curtains. You can book the Executive Pod or Bunker Bed for less than Rs.500 mostly. Once you book this you have access to the Swimming Pool, Gym, Sauna, SPA(extra charges), Salon(Extra charges), Workstations, Lounge and other areas. From my recent visit in November, Sauna and Steam room were not functioning, but swimming pool is open. But DO NOT engage in any form of PDA in the common areas including Pods and Bunks, as they have CCTV everywhere except the showers and security closely monitors the common areas. We can just use the Pods/Bunks or the common areas for just casual meetups and if we get someone for fun then this Hotel also offers rooms; Book the room after you find a partner, go there and have a go at it.
This can be great spot for finding partners in the common areas, but don't engage in any fun/PDA, as it has CCTV coverage and there are a bunch of families. girls groups, straight couples and straight guys are also visiting this for the WFO visit and to use their amenities. Please don't get caught or misuse this place, its my humble request.
I had an interesting encounter in the showers couple of times, as there is limited privacy I usually leave my slippers outside the curtains to just notify anyone that its occupied and on several occasions people have peaked into the curtain even when there is clear evidence that there is someone inside, but they would apologise and left me alone. There was one more incident when a guy in the next shower opened the side shower curtain asked for my soap(Yhew) and I was fully naked having a peaceful shower. That looked like a clear sign, but the soap sharing request was off-putting and I didn't engage with that guy.
Check-In is at 1:30PM I think and Check out at 11AM. |

I don't think there is any specific time. You just Check-In and use Grindr to see who is nearest. Morning 6 till 9 is most busy in showers, but those are people getting ready for their day. It depends on luck though.
I usually take my bath around 9:30/10AM. |

@chool_thunne, This place is a combination of a Luxury Dormitory + a decent Hotel + a Restaurants + Professional SPA and lots of recreational activities.
@rohan2525, I have seen crowds on weekends and weekdays. Weekday crowds are mostly WFO people, some leisure seekers, some job seekers or small business people visiting BLR for a few days.On weekends its mostly Leisure seekers and that includes family groups with/without children, couples. boys and/or girls groups. So my suggestion would be to check-in, use grindr to find the nearest people, chat with them and check if they are in the hotel, if they are meet them casually in the common areas like the lounge area and if you are comfortable with each other book the rooms and have your fun there.
I am not a representative of the Hotel. Its a place I have been to and I like the vibe there. It does have its own cons,
1) like dorms/pods have access to all the recreational facilities and for rooms you will have to make a separate booking for the pods/bunks.
2) Shared Shower area doesn't have soap stands or dress hangers to keep your clothes dry
3) The uniform dress they provide makes me feel like a prisoner in a jail and a lot of times you won't get a size that fits you if there is a crowd already checked in.
4) Lots of CCTV coverage and security is tight(which is a good thing for normal travelers), but will be bad for meetups and PDAs.
