Public Alert: Unpleasant Experience at *Healing Touch Male Spa (Mahim)*
I would like to share my personal experience as a caution for others. During my recent visit to Healing Touch Male Spa in Mahim, I found the experience to be extremely disappointing and far from what was advertised.
The staff members shown in the promotional photos were very different from the individuals actually present at the spa. Additionally, I observed a serious lack of hygiene and professionalism, which made the overall experience uncomfortable and concerning from a health and safety perspective.
As a customer, basic cleanliness, transparency, and respectful service are the minimum expectations when visiting such establishments. Unfortunately, these standards were not met during my visit.
I am sharing this purely as a public awareness message so that others can make informed decisions before visiting. I strongly recommend exercising caution and ensuring that any place you visit maintains proper hygiene and honest representation of their services.

Hi fellas, I received plenty of massages again ,of friends & folks from here wanting to discuss certain medical situations, cautions, preventive measures etc. Instead of answering individually, I thought of making a quick note, that one should consider while visiting any spa or privately taking a massage (clearly from a Health/Medical perspective). Number 10 is the most important, that many folks want to hide resulting in more serious conditions in future
1. Always Choose a Hygienic, Reputed , Tested & Tried Facility – Ensure the centre follows proper hygiene standards, uses clean linens (get them changed in front of you), and maintains sanitized beds, rooms, preferably go for bottled waters. If you feel something is not right about the place , then may you are 100% right....Trust your Gut.
2. Avoid Visits if You Have Active cuts, injuries, wounds, Infections – Postpone the session if you have skin infections, rashes, fever, or contagious illnesses or even if you recovering from one. It is also safe & fine to ask the masseur the same question, just like you discuss with them regarding the post-massage activities. Health First, Fun Second !!
3. Disclose Relevant Medical Conditions – Inform the therapist if you have conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, varicose veins, cardiac issue or recent surgery. Some massuers are really amateur & do not have much knowledge regarding the pressures, stretchings, twistings etc and any increased pressure might lead to some permanent rupture, dislocation of damage, especially if you have any pre-conditions. Please discuss it out with your masseur before lying down
4. Protect Against Skin Infections – Ensure oils, towels, and equipment are not reused without proper cleaning to reduce risk of fungal or bacterial infections (which is more common than you think). If there's any issue of Hygiene that you observe, there's a 95% chance of skin infection existing. Note:- Skin Infections are not very easy to cure & could take years.
5. Maintain Personal Hygiene – Try to Shower before and after the session (preferably a hot shower with some antispectic, like dettol, savlon etc) to minimize the risk of skin irritation or infections. If the skin, eyes or any part is getting irritated post the massage/ session, immediately contact a doctor.
6. Practice Safe Personal Health Behavior – Avoid any activity that may expose you to sexually transmitted infections (STIs); prioritize personal safety ,consent. Use Condoms ALWAYS. Avoid any body fluid exchange as much as possible. Do not engage in any sexual activity, if either you or the masseur has any active wounds, rashes, any sort of non-controlled body fluid discharge.
7. Avoid Alcohol or Drugs Before the Session – These can affect body awareness, increase injury risk, and impair judgment.
8. Communicate Comfort and Boundaries – Immediately speak up if you experience pain, discomfort, or anything that feels unsafe or unprofessional.
9. Stay Hydrated & Rest After Therapy – Drinking water and allowing the body to relax after a massage helps muscle recovery.
10. Seek Medical Advice if Symptoms Appear Later – If you notice skin irritation, unusual pain, or signs of infection, consult a healthcare professional promptly. A very important things to do !
