A little bit about me!!!
I am currently a researcher working in Hyderabad. The last few years have been extremely difficult for me. Ever since I have been going to therapy and trying to really understand myself, I am realizing that some of my childhood experiences as a gay person were not really normal, and I coped with them in an unhealthy manner. I am sure others here might relate to it as well. We all might have had different experiences, but the trauma it caused is deep and unhealthy, and might be somewhat similar. One of the coping mechanisms we develop is *** addiction, where we feel a relentless need for constant validation. I have been really trying to heal the inner parts of myself and become more spiritually inclined. Again, being spiritual doesn't mean following a particular religion. You might not believe in God and still be spiritual.
The reason for my post here is that I sometimes find it extremely hard to heal alone. Even if this post reaches to atleast one person who might be in the same path as me or trying to heal his traumas, i would really love to get in touch with you. I just believe that we hope to inspire each other and develop a healthy friendship where healing doesn't become forced, and we actually start to connect with our authentic selves.
