I recently watched new web series His Story. I loved it not just because of its theme but also how the story was handed with almost maturity and with no cliche. I don't want to spoil the fun for other but putting any story info but watch it for great performances by all (including lead pair Satyadeep Misra and Mrinal Dutt.

I personally felt sad watching it.
The plight of homosexual men who marry and the tragic double-life they lead was brought home rather poignantly. |

I agree. I felt sad as well. I do applaud the makers for handing the subject as normal as possible and not making a soft ***. I can relate to the series fully. Being married with kids etc. Although deep in my heart I really want to have a relation that completes me.

I have seen it twice till now
Its so beautifully portrayed
The love and bond shown is what we all feel some time in our life
Ya the end may feel sad to almost all but the way the story has been handled it’s fabulous |

Like why they can't just give happy ending sometime, like isn't it kind of spreading streotype that ya gays have commitment issues , what the hell was nothing exciting you wanna go on quests ?! |
|
No Picture desipurebtm | Posted On May 3, 2021
Happy ending would have been great but I see the point to show struggle and making it more practical with commitment issues (which has nothing specific of being gay btw). I also hope that this leaves a way to create a sequel.
The characters were more real and I could not get the story out of my mind due to effective portrayal. |

Well climax is pain full but it has to be like that because they have very huge age difference that's the main point One good lesson is that one should not choose younger guys for relationship coz they will b like butterfly they can't b in closed commitment for long time |

You have a point. Yes May be the you g guy did not knew what is to be in a relation. For him it was all adventure and thrill. |

A very poorly made series. Too many cliches jammed together without proper story and direction. Too much stress on labels and activism without any direction. The high society obsession completely dissociates itself from the audience. |

after reading so many comments here i finally watched the series.. and i did not find it too innovative or something that hasn't been portrayed before.. not just men to men but lesbo also in fact same gender relationships, like bombay velvet, recent netflix ajeeb dastaans, fashion movie, i believe that was more painful portrayal of gay relationship.. to name a few...infact this series feels like a joke .. i mean how come all of a sudden someone would argue that we were good when the other partner was married and we had a secretive relationship.. that means for him it was just a timepass.. but for other it was LOVE.. which is beyond everything else.. seems like they did not find an ending and hence end it that way.. plus the shouting and rona dhona drama is too much. in between few episodes are so slow it feels like you are watching kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahut thi serial again.. |

I have watched it on 25th april. I would give 7 out of 10.
-1 for the sudden change in wife mind. Yes he have save her elder son , but that something impossible to move 180degree change in your behaviour. It is something imaginery.
-1 for so called alt balajis characterisation. They always shows the story for reach people. Even a man below 30 and her sister owning a big flats . some middle class socity story would connect more to people. In that aspect married woman ( LESBO/ BI) was better than this. Atleast one family belongs to middle class.
-1 for not giving final conclusion to the littile gay boy. His role is also need some conclusion with his father relation. Then it would better picture.
I love the end. That marriage was so rediculus. If it executed I would simply give 5 out of 10. This is practical. That show off is not required for real relation.

ye dear i too saw it nice every own having that feeling we want change naa now a days almost all we b serilas are gay oriented like foreihhn serials i hope india also forwarded nd hope it is very common now a days it starts at school days itself even thelittle boys by viewing this they may adict to gays ex no doubt |

@Rathiputra, Series like these bring out the issues related to the LGBT community and increase our visibility. We can only dream of an inclusive Indian society. Your comment about little boys viewing this may get addicted to gay *** is very wrong and out of the context. Comments like these hinder our progress towards an inclusive progressive Society. FYI: sexual orientation is natural,no one becomes gay;we are born this way. |
|
No Picture chembur | Posted On May 10, 2021
@boobi101 So you mean to say sexual orientation is genetic. It means it's all in genes you are born with And no one can alter the genes. Right? |

@RATHIPUTHRA @boobi101 house of flowers is based in Spain and there situation is same as India. But I like the story line and all cast is fantastic.
Special the gay boy.
If any person orientation is toward gay then these search these things unconsciously/consciously. U want to see what ur desired. So there is no role of serial in making young people gay. |
|
No Picture boobi101 | Posted On May 11, 2021
@Desidesirex, I guess it is based in Mexico and the language is Spanish(Latin American). Because Spain is very accepting of LGBT community and the situation is not at all like that of India. Same *** marriage is legal in Spain since 2005. |

No Picture Notorious21 | Posted On May 12, 2021
It's a poorly written series, hated the ending. The only character that seemed sensible was the female lead. |
|
No Picture Desidesirex | Posted On May 12, 2021
@Notorious it's not ended yet new season yet to come . But don't know if Netflix cancel it before concludinng it
But sense 8 is also a good series having multiple gay couples. And *** sense are so hot. Must try it. @boobi101 I didn't know it about legal status. But the way this series present it seem there are still issues. |
|
No Picture boobi101 | Posted On May 12, 2021
@Desidesirex, the series based in Mexico and not Spain, that is why it depicts issues with LGBT community. |

@Notorious21 Yes you are correct. Lead female role was understanding and very well played. She was hot too. yaar. |

I am a 20 years boy and I felt little depressed after watching this particular series as are we gay/bi people so confused and are we okay to be with someone and then leave them because it's okay and doesn't feel right in the moment No one for sure want's to live a life as a lie with living with someone is more important at the end of the day rather then living with a person of your sexual preference What do you think do share your thoughts young people like me would like to hear from you people who go through thia |

but it just shows the hard reality, if the shield of secrecy breaks then everything finishes, so in our country one has to protect secrecy then only these relationships can last. |

I loved the series, got connected in beginning as I could relate myself to Kunal..
But later when he decided to leave his happy family for the guy and later decided to marry him in front of his friends and family... That's too much to digest..
India will take another 100 year to reach there..

Loved it. Every gay/bisexual who are not open yet and due to pressure of society have hidden themselves can definitely relate. I felt so bad for his wife and kids. They will suffer due to all this |
