In a word, I'm philosophical. I love thinking about the "deeper" things: existence, reality, perception, etc. And I can talk with someone about this stuff for hours...literally. At the same time, I really appreciate the wisdom of just remaining silent, of speaking only "when it improves upon the silence."

I'm an introvert by nature, so I'm the quiet guy who sits by himself while observing what goes on around him. But if you get me talking about something I have an interest in, I can go on and on. I'm typically shy when talking to people one-on-one, unless I really like you. If we "click" and I feel comfortable with you, I won't have a problem talking. When it comes to talking in front of a large group, though, I do quite well. I've been told by teachers and peers that I'm an excellent public speaker. I tend to believe them.
