I am not someone living with HIV but I'd like to add something here.
Yes. Please practice safe *** always as it not only helps reduce the transmission of HIV but also other sexually transmitted infections.
As for people who have been detected positive, there are lots of resources out there to help you cope. People can take relevant medications and stuff which can ultimately make the virus undetectable. If they are undetectable they cannot transmit it to others. Also people living with HIV can live a regular life like everyone else if they follow their prescribed medication and stuff. Life will be hard but it wont be the end of it. We have made great progress in dealing with hiv.
There is also PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) which you can take as per prescription if you think you are at a risk of getting HIV due to certain incidents or activities. This medication helps prevent HIV even if you indulge in unsafe practices (it still doesnt protect you from other sexually transmitted diseases so please still use protection). There are a lot of resources about this out there as well. But yes, it is always better to be safe. |

For early detection most important thing is testing. As such disease are asymptomatic in early stages but worsened in decade. If it detected earlier then treatment help in reductipn of chances to going in to third stage i.e. HIV to AIDS. |

There is no vaccine for HIV yet. As it has so many strains hence vaccine efficacy and developement not yet successful. There is need of caution and awareness to deal with such disease. Any fun or such activities to be done with avoidance of body fluid or to be tested. |

I don't know how many people know this, but from Healthians (website or app) you can get entire STD Panel Test (including HIV) for around 600 INR. That too while sitting at home. It is surprising that not enough people get tested for STDs and STIs. Especially all the married men. You can get STIs from even kissing, orals and so called "bodysex". It doesn't need to be ***. In that case you would have a tough time explaining situation at home. So be safe and keep on getting tested regularly. |

Hamsafar trust offer frew hiv and std test faculity for gays.i visited for test information but very bad experience it seems that they are not sensitive to gay std issues. What i feel rather then solution gay counsellor create fear and stigma only. It lookd that we are criminal as comming for hiv test.i ask for std test but they forcing me to do hiv test. Thry un nrsessarity create panic and ask my contact no and inform that no one revisited once tested positive.means they are catching hiv positive people just like covid. So all NGO should be sensitive and helpful for gay issues no need to create panic and fear.only poditivr and trustworthy atmosphere help us. |

Yes prevention is better then cure. But it is better to prepare for worst and cautious in life. Sometimes 100% protection not protect us . It is just matter of chance.in gay life where monogamy not exist and many partners are common.it is better to be tested before any fun in ideal scenerio. But now testing is only solution as cure with some risks possible.
Stay safe and happy hunting

I recently got to know that a friend of mine is HIV +ve. A well educated engineer, barely 27. A very decent fellow. However to my surprise he had never got himself tested before. It is so *** important, that we get into the habit of asking a person's 1. HIV status 2. When was the last time they got tested Before asking about preference, *** size ,place, blaa blaa....
Just because someone says I am a "decent guy" should not be an excuse to not get tested. |

I agree . You can only vouch for yourself and not others. Please practice ABCD for HIV prevention A- ( penetrative ) abstinence . Practice self ***. Non penetrative e.g.body *** better than penetrative ***. B- be mutually faithful to your partner. Minimise the number of partners. More the partners more is therisk C- Consistent condom use. Avoid raw ***. Always insist for condom even with regular partner. Decent regular partner doesn't guarantee HIV negative partner. D- Drugs , vaccines. Use PreP , PEP . Take HBV , HPV vaccines. Treat Sexually transmitted infections early. STI increases risk of HIV
Feel free to message me if you have specific query.

My doctor friend recently told me that syphillis is rapidly spreading and very very rampant in mumbai amongst m2m. It is an sti and very very harmful if not treated in right time. It does not have vaccine. However if detected the treatment is very simple of 3 injections. Nothing more no tablets. But if not treated it can be life threatening. Also it spread very very easily even on deep kiss smooch or orals. So pls pls wear condom for orals as well. Also pls take vaccine for hepatitis B and HPV. It’s also an sti but there is a vaccine for the same. All general doctors give it. Pls take it. |

If u wanna be safe ..at zero risk .best solution is to have Nooo ***..second is to stick with only one partner forever . So here it is next to impossible so everyone reading this are under some or other risk of STD STI.
So take your call accordingly ...sorry for harsh...but fact is fact .
Some STD/SIT are treatable some can only manageable through medicine . Be is oral *** kiss smooch any sexual touch . |
