Its not an easy task to find "egg came first or chicken". Being gay is so..! I ll speak only about my life .
When I was a kid - like from age of 5-10 I believe to think I was feminine in certain ways. for one, I used to wear my sister's nighties, at that very age, and used to like make up and all but never tried per se.
While growing up, i had this huge crush on my classmate when i was in 5th standard. Eventually I liked his company and all, my heart used to beat aloud whenever he used to touch me, i can still feel his rough hand touches (casual ones, not sexual lol) and then that crush faded away, fast forward to 8th grade, i started cricket coaching in summer vacation, at that time, a ball hit me so hard in my balls, (i did not wear guard) that i almost crashed for few seconds, and then i recovered, went home, discontinued cricket and done. But then on, I was having more strong fantasies about men in my street, and then started having these huge crushes on male movie actors, like Tarun, Ravi Teja.. and also my body's secondary characterstics transformed more into a womanish. I was so depressed, I used to not speak out about these issues. Parents didnt had time to really care much, they were busy doing their thing and feeding us. It was a rinse repeat cycle. I became sooo overly self conscious about my body and behavior, it transformed my personality and character into someone different, i get the feel of aparichitudu. I am depressed bipolar and what not.
Sometimes i feel if i had not had that bad cricket ball crushing incident, I would have atleast been a bisexual and things would have somewhat been better. You could have been born a female and then what if instead of being straivht, you became lesbian. At the end of the day, you be you. Don't think too much about if, what,when, why, how. Nice thoughts....However, as a community the hidden point should never be ignored. If we accept the fact that sexual preference is not by birth and changeable, that's the most dangerous thing. The society do try to change the sextual preference of gay community by various means which are sometimes horrible and the most common way to change (which society thinks) is to get gay man married to gal. I have seen another post like this maybe on Reddit or someplace. See my first time ever watching *** was at the age of 15, but even then I didn't know anything about Homosexuality. It was only after further sneaking around and exploration did I stumble across Gay *** an year or two later.
However, I used to always get very excited thinking about being undressed and taken like a woman by an elderly mlae from a very early age as far back as I can remember. Yes I have been very attracted and physical with the opposite gender as well but this "other" particular idea or fantasy was never explored and leaves this unexplainable empty feeling inside me all the time. Further made worse by the fact that it's not something that can be easily and openly discussed.
What I'm trying to say is that in my early days I had no clue as to what *** is and yet somehow a fantasy already existed inside my mind, before I even had any knowledge regarding the ways of the world, be it ***, reproduction or anything of the sorts.
